The Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan (APAS) has been working on an independent review of Saskatchewan’s farmland ownership rules since August 2025 and is pleased that the Government of Saskatchewan has finally committed to reviewing The Saskatchewan Farm Security Act. APAS looks forward to contributing evidence-based recommendations to ensure farmland remains accessible for future generations.
