As we continue to expand our digital footprint, we are looking for a passionate Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive digital media strategies to enhance APAS’s online presence, engage our audience, and drive digital and membership growth. If you are a creative professional with a passion for digital marketing media and a knack for creating compelling content, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies aligning with APAS’s goals.
- Create, brand, and manage engaging content across various digital platforms.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on digital campaign performance; adjust strategies accordingly.
- Stay abreast of digital media trends and innovations.
- Manage APAS’s social media presence to increase visibility and engagement.
- Design and implement display ads and remarketing campaigns.
- Maintain, develop and manage the website and SEO strategies to improve search rankings.
- Coordinate with external agencies and vendors on media activities.
- Provide communications support to staff and board members.
- Manage the creation, branding, and distribution of collateral materials.
- Maintain and manage the APAS brand across all media and communications channels, ensuring a consistent and powerful brand message.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field OR a combination of relevant experience and education.
- Proven experience in a digital marketing role.
- Proficiency in SEO/SEM, social media, analytics, and digital advertising.
- Familiarity with marketing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Mailchimp) and applications (e.g., Web analytics, Google Adwords).
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development tools is desirable.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills.
- Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience in the agricultural sector is an asset.
