WHEREAS there is a growing body of evidence demonstrating the benefits of zero-till as a means of capturing and storing carbon in agricultural soils,

WHEREAS there is currently a lack of research into carbon sequestration in environmental acres such as trees and wetlands;

BE IT RESOLVED that APAS lobby the federal government to increase support for research into carbon sequestration in environmental acres, such as trees and wetlands
