Resolution

WHEREAS Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) is a serious and fatal disease affecting Saskatchewan’s deer, elk and moose populations,

WHEREAS participation in Saskatchewan’s voluntary testing program for harvested wild cervids has been declining in recent years;

BE IT RESOLVED that the Government of Saskatchewan allocate adequate budget to increase level of funding for Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) testing of wild cervids in Saskatchewan.
