Resolution

WHEREAS Canadian energy exports have been restricted by inadequate pipeline capacity, which has reduced the value of our energy products; and

WHEREAS the increasing volume of petroleum products shipped by rail is a factor in delaying grain shipments by rail;

BE IT RESOLVED that APAS work with the Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta and Federal Governments to advance the concept of using Arctic Gateway corridor on the Hudson Bay railway to Churchill as an energy pipeline corridor for the export of Canadian products.
