WHEREAS succession planning is a major issue for both farm and non-farm businesses in rural Saskatchewan;

WHEREAS there are several organizations offering programs to raise awareness and help individual families, but a more coordinated approach is needed to increase participation;

BE IT RESOLVED that APAS bring together the organizations promoting succession planning in rural Saskatchewan to explore opportunities for partnerships and coordinate extension efforts wherever possible.
