Resolution

BE IT RESOLVED by the APAS midterm meeting

• That APAS recognizes that mental health and wellness and the provision of mental health services and supports are important issues for agricultural producers and rural communities;
• That APAS develop a plan for furthering the discussion and promotion of mental health and the provision of community services and supports to agricultural producers;
• That APAS develop partnerships with agricultural organizations and agencies to identify positive policy solutions to support mental health awareness, professional services and programs for agriculture and rural communities.
