Resolution

WHEREAS agriculture is one of the main economic drivers provincially and federally

WHEREAS our country and province has a deep rooted history in agriculture

WHEREAS agriculture has made huge technological advancements and breakthroughs in recent decades that are relatively unknown to the general public

WHEREAS consumers face a barrage of misleading advertisements and false information related to producer operations that erode their trust in the capabilities and products of Saskatchewan agricultural producers;

BE IT RESOLVED that APAS work with provincial commodity groups to lobby the provincial government together to include mandatory agricultural education in all appropriate aspects of Saskatchewan’s school curriculum.
