Resolution

WHEREAS The Canadian Agricultural Partnership Program provides funding for training under the Agricultural Skills and Knowledge (ASK) program;  

WHEREAS Approved courses under ASK are targeted to farm management skill development;  

WHEREAS Producers are increasingly seeing the need to receive formal training for both pesticide application and 1A truck driving licenses;

BE IT RESOLVED That the Canadian Agricultural Partnership’s Agricultural Skills and Knowledge Program be expanded to include approved training for pesticide applicators and 1A truck licensing for agricultural operations.
