WHEREAS New Generation Coops are effective ways for producers to invest in agriculture related development such as short line railways; and

WHEREAS shares in publicly traded companies qualify as RRSP investments;

BE IT RESOLVED that the federal government create a level playing field by allowing investments in New Generation Coops to qualify as RRSP investments.
