Resolution

WHEREAS producers in certain areas of the province have wildlife damage on the same fields year after year;

WHEREAS in order to make a wildlife damage claim producers must have the fields inspected and adjusted during harvest while the field is being harvested;

BE IT RESOLVED that Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation (SCIC) allow producers the option to have fields inspected for wildlife damage claims prior to their harvest date using drones and/or satellite technology to facilitate more timely adjustment with reduced burden on farmers and SCIC staff.
