Resolution

WHEREAS supporting producer investment in the future of their industry is essential;

WHEREAS producers have significant investment in AgriInvest;

WHEREAS the government contributions are required to be withdrawn first and become taxable upon withdrawal and this discourages producers from using these funds for investment;

BE IT RESOLVED that the federal government allow the withdrawal of producer funds first if the funds are utilized for approved industry investments.
